We are committed to delivering exceptional short-term rehabilitation and 24/7 skilled nursing care in a supportive, healing environment. Our Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role in helping our patients regain strength, independence, and confidence.
About the Role:- Conduct respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, inhalation therapies, and aerosol treatments
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their overall health
- Develop and implement customized respiratory care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients with various respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma
- Conduct pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and other diagnostic tests to assess patients' lung function
- Develop and implement respiratory care plans in accordance with professional standards and facility policies
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
- Participate in interprofessional team conferences to discuss patient care and treatment plans
- Has a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Possesses a degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field
- Is certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and committed to staying up-to-date on the latest respiratory therapy techniques and evidence-based practices
