Database Architect – Financial Systems

Job Summary:

SQL databases, data modeling, and database security within financial services. Should have knowledge of cloud-based data solutions.

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance database architectures for large-scale banking applications
  .
• Develop database solutions using Oracle 19c and above, Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL, Mongo
  
  DB, Cassandra, or other distributed databases
  .
• Optimize database performance
  , indexing strategies, partitioning, and query tuning
  .
• Define data governance policies to ensure compliance with financial regulations (PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.).
• Design and implement ETL pipelines, data warehousing, and real-time analytics solutions.
• Work closely with application architects, Dev Ops engineers, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
• Automate database deployment and monitoring using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes operators
  .
• Provide guidance on database migrations, upgrades, and cloud adoption strategies
  .
• Ensure data security best practices
  , encryption, and access control mechanisms are in place.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10-12 years of experience in database architecture and engineering.

• Proficiency in performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing techniques
  .
• Experience with database security principles, encryption, access control, and compliance regulations
  .
• Knowledge of ETL pipelines, data lakes, and real-time data processing
  .
