Position Overview

We are looking for a Staff
Data Engineer/Scientist to tackle challenging problems. You will support the development of AI/ML algorithms across large language models, natural language processing, and time‑series predictive analytics. Additionally, you will work with a team of researchers and developers eager to mentor and share expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble large, complex data sets to support AI/ML algorithm implementation.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including re‑designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.
  • Build required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources.
  • Curate and maintain data stored in support of metrics and evaluation.
  • Design, build, test, maintain, and automate data collection pipelines.
  • Develop dashboards for data analytics.
  • Implement Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning algorithms.
  • Use Agile methodologies to develop software.
Required Qualifications
  • U.S. in data science, AI/ML, computer science, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer/Scientist.
  • Experience developing data pipelines and normalizing data with canonical Python packages (e.g., Num Py, Pandas, Polars).
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly U.S. Government Security Clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in data science, AI/ML, computer science, or related field.
  • Experience with Git Lab, Dev Sec Ops  utilizing test‑driven development, containers (e.g., Docker, Docker Compose), cloud services (e.g., AWS), and distributed computing tools (e.g., Spark, PySpark).
  • Active TS/SCI with a recent Full‑Scope Polygraph (FSP) U.S. Government Security Clearance.
Pay Range

$130,000 – $200,000. Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
