We are looking for a Senior
Data Engineer/Scientist to tackle new challenges in AI/ML across large language models, natural language processing, and time‑series predictive analytics. Our team of researchers and software developers mentors and teaches craft.
This is an on‑site position located in Aurora, Colorado.
Responsibilities- Assemble large, complex data sets for AI/ML algorithm implementation
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, redesign infrastructure for scalability, optimize data delivery, and automate manual processes
- Build required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources
- Curate and maintain data supporting metrics and evaluation
- Design, build, test, maintain, and automate data collection pipelines
- Develop dashboards for data analytics
- Implement AI/ML algorithms
- Use Agile methodologies to develop software
- BS in Data Science, AI/ML, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer/Scientist
- Experience developing data pipelines and normalizing data with canonical Python packages (e.g., Num Py, Pandas, Polars)
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance
- Willingness to obtain a Counter Intelligence (CI) or Full‑Scope Polygraph (FSP)
- MS or Ph.D. in Data Science, AI/ML, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with Git Lab, Dev Sec Ops , test‑driven development, containers (e.g., Docker, Docker Compose), cloud services (e.g., AWS), and distributed computing tools (e.g., Spark, PySpark)
- Active TS/SCI with a recent Counter Intelligence (CI) or Full‑Scope Polygraph (FSP)
$125,000 - $195,000. Your actual level and base salary will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
