Join the Dice team as a Systems Architect (Job Number: R0231373) to support mission‑critical federal projects.
OpportunityThis role supports mission‑critical military operations by designing large‑scale platform architectures across on‑premise and cloud environments. You will work with Booz Allen, the military, and other partners to deliver Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) ground system capabilities.
Responsibilities- Lead technical design and architecture for complex, integrated systems.
- Support requirements development, lead design reviews, and validate architectural alignment.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise throughout the system lifecycle.
- Deliver well‑grounded recommendations on system architecture that drive modernization, interoperability, and long‑term sustainability.
- 10+ years of experience developing system architectures, Agile planning, and hardware integration for complex space or ground systems.
- Experience supporting space, ground, software, or hardware systems in major defense acquisition programs.
- Experience architecting and implementing cloud‑based solutions and development.
- Experience in systems engineering integration for DoD, government agencies, or commercial programs.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Open Shift) and SDLC.
- Knowledge of networking, external interface integration, zero‑trust principles, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Ability to lead technical teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Secret clearance (or higher where required).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or computer science.
- Experience with OPIR or missile‑warning operations.
- Risk assessment and threat‑modeling experience.
- Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- Master’s degree in a technical field.
- Security+, Cloud, AWS, Google, or MCSE certifications.
Applicants must meet eligibility criteria for a security investigation and obtain Secret clearance (or higher where required).
CompensationCompetitive salary range: $86,900.00 – $ annualized USD (location).

Work Model- Remote hybrid, or onsite per client needs. If listed as remote or hybrid, you will work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.
