Acquisition Application Manager with Security Clearance

Position is contingent upon contract award. As the Acquisition Application Manager, you will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of acquisition and procurement systems. This role supports contract lifecycle management, procurement planning, vendor performance, and compliance with acquisition regulations.

• Manage end‑to‑end lifecycle of acquisition‑related applications and tools.
• Serve as primary liaison between acquisition teams, IT, software vendors, and stakeholders.
• Lead system upgrades, integrations, and troubleshoot activities to ensure optimal performance and usability.
• Support acquisition planning, contract award processes, and post‑award tracking through technology solutions.
• Analyze user needs and translate them into technical requirements and system configurations.
• Ensure acquisition systems comply with FAR/DFARS, organizational policies, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and SOPs for acquisition systems.
• Provide technical and process support to procurement teams and end‑users.
• Track system performance, usage, and KPIs to recommend improvements.
• Participate in audits, reviews, and data quality checks to ensure system integrity and compliance.

• A bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent experience in IT systems or related tasks.
• Extensive knowledge of IT system administration or procurement analysis.
• Understanding of DoD acquisition policies, laws, and regulations.
• Knowledge of federal acquisition process and contracting principles.
• Ability to resolve complex problems and develop action plans.
• A customer‑service mindset.
• Experience with Agile or Dev Sec Ops  development environments.
• Familiarity with data governance, cybersecurity requirements such as FISMA, NIST, and system accreditation.
• PMP or DAWIA certification (Contracting, Program Management, or IT) is a plus.
• Experience with business process reengineering or workflow automation.

Active Secret clearance required.
