Senior Technical Business Analyst

Job Description

A Higher Education Client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to support the release management phase of a major Data Enablement initiative focused on standardized metrics and BI dashboards. This role will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition from development to production by engaging end-users, addressing concerns, and improving confidence in the new metrics. Key responsibilities include facilitating communication between BI developers, subject matter experts, and end-users;

managing customer feedback and issue resolution; and enhancing documentation to clearly explain business rules, logic, and data sources. The position will also involve coordinating training, supporting change management, and setting the foundation for long-term maintenance and support structures. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis and project coordination within data or BI environments, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized individual with excellent problem solving skills. This position is a remote 6 month contract role with possibility of extensions, and can pay between $50-$60/hour with medical benefits and 401k options offered on contract. • 5+ years of experience in roles such as Project Management, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, and/or Support Analyst, in BI project with increasing complexity
• Working experience in settings such as FP&A, Finance/HR/Operations, Healthcare, Higher Education and/or Public Sector
• Strong experience with Change Management, Project Management, Technical Writing, Communications, Data Analysis, Release Management, and Go-Live Support
