As the Assistant Contract Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, supporting complex facilities management functions, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, and leading a diverse workforce. Your expertise will directly support essential medical facility operations—helping ensure a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors. • Support the Contract Maintenance Manager in overseeing facility operations, maintenance, and repair activities within a healthcare business‑occupancy environment.
• Lead and mentor a diverse workforce responsible for maintaining commercial building infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate and supervise work related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life‑safety systems.
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations, including TJC, NFPA, EPA, OSHA, and contract‑specific performance requirements.
• Participate in inspections, audits, safety reviews, and Environment of Care activities.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Support documentation, reporting, and communication requirements across the contract.
• Partner with internal teams, medical facility staff, and external vendors to ensure seamless operations.
• Promote and uphold a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Must have Craftsman Trade in one of the following areas:
  Maintenance, Plumbing, HVAC, etc. This is a working position.

• Three (3) years of experience in operations and maintenance within a business‑occupancy medical facility.
• Five (5) years of experience servicing and/or renovating commercial buildings.
• Experience supervising a diversified workforce responsible for O&M of commercial building systems.
• Strong technical background in Healthcare Facilities Management.
• Familiarity with applicable codes and standards including:
• TJC (The Joint Commission)
• NFPA (National Fire Protection Association)
• EPA (Environmental Protection Agency)
• OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration)
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently.

• Formal training related to the Joint Commission’s Environment of Care (EOC) and Life Safety Code (LSC) standards.
• Experience coordinating compliance programs within a medical environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a commitment to excellence.
