What You’ll DoKey Responsibilities
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing innovative solutions to meet their electrical contracting requirements.
Project Management: Oversee service and special projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget. Develop and present effective solutions for client projects including design support and estimating. Identify project risks and issues proactively, developing and implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track. Ensure all projects comply with relevant safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements.
Prepare and present regular progress reports to clients and senior management, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions.
Team Leadership: Effectively manage and assign workloads to direct reports to take advantage of the strengths of staff, training opportunities, and development of a strong and consistent department ensuring outstanding customer service. Develop and mentor the team, including active participation in succession planning. Foster employee engagement and career growth by providing training opportunities, effective feedback, and guidance as well as setting clear expectations and accountability.
Collaborative Leadership: Oversee daily operations of regional service and special projects, providing leadership, vision, and mentorship to teams. Promote a positive culture, drive collaboration and excellence, and ensure projects are executed with a focus on safety and quality. Contribute to organization-wide initiatives and serve as a resource and collaborator to colleagues across the organization. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Business Development: Proactively seek new business opportunities by building and nurturing relationships with potential clients, industry influencers, and key stakeholders. Develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies to secure new contracts and partnerships. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, sales metrics, and financial results.
Industry and Community Networking: Collaborate with stakeholders across the industry and community to implement effective strategies aligned with company goals.
