Job Summary
The Venture Mentorship Service Manager serves as the operational and strategic lead for CU Innovations' venture mentorship program, pairing university‑affiliated entrepreneurs with experienced industry mentors. The Manager owns program operations, mentor and mentee onboarding, relationship management, and continuous improvement of systems and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily operations, ensuring program efficiency and alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop, document, and refine administrative processes, policies, and tools for scheduling, communications, data tracking, and reporting.
- Oversee logistics for mentorship sessions, matching processes, events, and mentor round tables.
- Manage program communications, outreach materials, and digital platforms supporting mentor engagement.
- Collect, analyze, and report on program metrics to demonstrate impact and guide continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for mentors and mentees, fostering productive professional relationships.
- Maintain engagement goals, such as mentors supporting multiple ventures and regular session scheduling.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders—including CU faculty, campus entrepreneurs, investors, and innovation ecosystem partners—to strengthen mentor recruitment and expand venture pipelines.
- Identify opportunities for program enhancement, scaling, and integration with other CU Innovations initiatives.
Hybrid – eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in‑person meetings.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, life sciences, or related field.
- 4‑5 years of progressive experience in community building or formal mentorship programs (non‑profit, philanthropy, development, donor/alumni relations, higher education, or related field).
- Master’s degree (MBA, MS).
- Prior experience with MIT or other applicable VMS Mentorship Program.
- Experience developing and managing processes, systems, or programs involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM tools, scheduling platforms, or program management software.

Starting salary range: $72,617 – $93,369.
