Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 + Bonus + 100% Paid for Benefits
Bright Minds is searching for experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to lead large-scale electrical utility construction projects in the Aurora, CO area. Project Managers take ownership of complex transmission, substation, and distribution projects while overseeing budgets, schedules, and teams to ensure projects are delivered with precision.
In this role, you’ll lead project teams through full execution, from planning to closeout, while managing client relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. You’ll monitor financial performance, forecast resource needs, and identify and mitigate risks before they impact project outcomes. As a trusted leader, you’ll mentor emerging Project Managers, foster collaboration, and promote best practices across teams.
Senior-level candidates will also contribute to strategic planning, operational improvements, and high-level client engagements.
- 5–12+ years of progressive project management experience, with recent background in electrical utility construction.
- Proven success leading projects ranging from $10M–$25M+.
- Deep understanding of transmission, distribution, and substation construction practices.
- Strong leadership, client relations, and communication skills with the ability to influence across teams.
- Expertise in cost control, scheduling, contract management, and risk mitigation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred for senior-level).
