Oversee and perform maintenance in support of day‑to‑day operations and maintain the physical assets of the property.

Responsibilities
  • Perform technical maintenance jobs as required.
  • Maintain all machinery and equipment under the direction of the Maintenance Manager and in accordance with applicable federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations.
  • Ensure all preventive, predictive and other maintenance systems are adhered to and properly performed for all machinery, equipment and buildings.
  • Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
  • Train and assist Maintenance Technicians and other more junior maintenance staff.
Required Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience repairing any (3) or more of the following heavy machinery: stamping presses, brake presses, laser cutters, robotic welders, overhead cranes, and hi‑los, as well as experience facilitating PM programs, implementing safety initiatives, and educating operators on machine maintenance and safety.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Installing and troubleshooting various systems skills.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Knowledge of all MIOSHA and OSHA standards.
  • Physical activities necessary to perform one or more essential functions of the position.
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily.
  • Frequently move, lift, carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs and may occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for minimum of 8 hours and up to 12 hours for up to 6 days a week.
  • Ability to continuously ascend and descend from ladders and stairs, work at heights and/or from a ladder, work from a lying down position, work with your hands above your head.
  • Willing to operate material handling equipment (i.e. forklift).
  • Write documents and reports using writing instruments and computers.
  • Follow appropriate safety procedures such as Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash, etc. and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment, and ensure a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards.
  • Ability to work overtime and must be available for on‑call requests as needed.
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in a related technical area.
The Anticipated Salary Range For This Position

$35.50 - $51.50 Hourly (actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.)
