Join the Mill Rock Packaging team as a Finishing Operator II. This full‑time, on‑site position is scheduled on 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 12:00 AM), Monday through Thursday. The role offers a base pay of $22 to $30 per hour plus a $0.50 per hour shift differential and bonuses of up to $1,500 after 90 days and $3,000 after 6 months.

Responsibilities- Read and understand work instructions in job tickets and job bag.
- Follow production schedule and set up and run the folder/gluer machines to produce cartons that meet customer specifications.
- Maintain the equipment, track the production schedule, provide special instructions to packers, and enter job data into the Radius computer program.
- Perform quality checks, communicate and correct quality issues with QA and the Finishing Lead/Manager.
- Operate the folder/gluer machine, set up equipment, run initial quantities, and demonstrate production capability.
- Report any broken or worn parts to leads/managers, and perform TPM tasks weekly/monthly.
- Meet monthly and quarterly efficiency goals and exceed established production and quality standards.
- English reading and writing skills.
- Basic mathematics: add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Reasoning: apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving concrete variables.
- Basic computer skills to read work instructions, record job data, follow schedule, and communicate via email.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and teamwork orientation.
- Availability to work overtime as needed and to respond to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or GED, or 3–5 years of experience with folding equipment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in folding carton and SFL carton industry.
- Experience with at least one of the following machines:
Bobst Expert Fold folder/gluer, Bobst Fuego folder/gluer, American International Signature folder/gluer, Alpina folder/gluer, Domino folder/gluer.
The job requires regular standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, and hearing. The employee must be able to lift or move 45 pounds, stand for 10+ hours, and perform repetitive lifting and bending. The work environment involves exposure to noise, vibrations, and the use of cutter and folding equipment.
