Production Associate

We are looking for a
Production Associate to join our
Auroa, Oregon plant. This is a 1st
shift position, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
. We offer competitive benefits and salary, plus up to $1.00/hr increase after 90 days depending on job performance and attendance. You'll be working on the production floor, alongside industrial machinery on several fast-paced production lines. You'll be assisting the production staff in achieving goals and operating as an efficient workforce in all aspects of the Production Department. All tasks should be performed in a safe manner to ensure achievement of Quality, Service, and Cost objectives.

• Operates various pieces of equipment in the manufacturing of Custom products.
• Makes minor adjustments on machines to ensure proper bag weights and production rates.
• Must be able to determine when to report operating problems to supervisor and maintenance department.
• Requires the ability to hand stack finished product during times of equipment outages or on some smaller volume production lines.
• Must comply with all safety rules and regulations at all times.
• Must perform housekeeping duties and reclaim all usable material.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.
• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Intermittently required to use hands, arms, legs, feet, body, and truck to carry, lift/lower, push/pull up to 55 lbs.
• Must have good vision and hearing.
• Must be capable of managing the high job demands associated with employee supervision, working extended hours, meeting production targets, and dealing with equipment failures or malfunctions.
• Solid previous work experience required.
