Certified Nurse Aide; CNA - PRN

• DAY SHIFT: 6:30 am - 2:45 pm
• EVENING SHIFT: 2:30 pm - 10:45 pm
• NIGHT SHIFT: 10:30 pm - 6:45 am

Compensation range is $20.50 - $28.50/hr + shift differential. DOE

Cares for patients in nursing home under direction of nursing and medical staff, by performing the following duties.

• Follows all nursing home policies and procedures governing the care of the resident
• Answers call lights, safety alarms or paging system to determine patients’ needs
• Bathes, dresses, and undresses patients
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds patients requiring assistance
• Transports patients or assists patients to walk
• Assists patients during examinations and treatments, and remains with patients to perform such duties as holding instruments and adjusting lights
• Turns and repositions bedfast patients, alone or with assistance, to prevent pressure ulcers
• Changes bed linens, empties trash cans, runs errands, directs visitors, and answers telephone
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
• All Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) must be accurately documented using either computerized means (or manual as necessary)
• Other duties may be assigned

Current Colorado Certified Nurse Aide (C.N.A.) certificate
