RN - LTAC

This is a 13-week contract position.

07:00 - 19:00

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care. They maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available, and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

• Provide care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff capabilities.
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care.

• Must have ACLS & BLS certifications (must be through the American Heart Association).
• Experience with ventilators and tracheostomy patients is required.
• Knowledge of central lines and preferred wound care experience.
• Must hold a Colorado or multi-state compact RN license.
• Patient ratios are 1:6.
