American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 1 year of recent ED experience and multiple specialty certifications.

• Emergency Department unit with 50 beds and approximately 68 staff members
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Patient ratios typically 1:4 or 1:5, though not guaranteed
• Uses EKG, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose equipment
• Charts in Meditech EMR
• Handles complete emergency department care needs

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospital ED experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and ENPC (PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC)
• CPI Blue Card certification required
• Level II Trauma experience preferred
• Stroke experience preferred

• Candidates must demonstrate energetic, collaborative personality with strong communication skills with staff and providers
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• No local candidates accepted
