Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 2 years of acute care experience and a CO or compact RN license.

• Active CO or compact RN license
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
• Must be comfortable working in environments with flexible, flexing nurse-to-patient ratios

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• 30 staffed beds
• Rotating 3x12 shifts, including both day (7:00-19:30) and night (19:00-7:30) shifts
• Scheduled to work all days of the week with weekend shifts per unit needs
• No on-call requirements
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6 at night and 1:5 during the day, with flexibility based on staffing needs
• Uses Epic for charting
• Required to float within scope to inpatient acute care med/surg units within the hospital
• May be asked to float to sister facilities in the metro area, including Broomfield, Highlands Ranch, and Longs Peak Hospitals
• First-time travelers accepted as long as they meet required experience
• Accepts local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility at a local rate
