American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor and Delivery RN requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least one year of L&D experience for a rotating shift assignment.

• Women's and Infants Labor and Delivery unit with 19 rooms
• 1:2 patient ratio
• Rotating day and night shifts (4x12 hours), various days of the week
• Weekend shifts required per unit needs
• On-call required per unit needs
• Float required within the Women and Infant unit and may extend to other units within the metro region as needed
• Epic charting system used
• Navy scrub color required

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• AWHONN Beginner and Advanced certifications preferred
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred

• Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care in the delivery room
• Responsibilities may include assisting with vaginal deliveries, circulating or scrubbing for C-sections, fetal monitoring, and medication administration
• Unit is able to accommodate multiple travel contracts due to its size
• Maximum of 10 RTO days per 13-week contract, with RTO blocked during specified high-census periods
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted
• Completion of all facility-specific training modules required within the first week of assignment
• Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or its affiliates may be ineligible for consideration
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible for the local pay rate
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
