American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 1 year of L&D experience and a CO or compact RN license.
Details- Work in a 19-room Women's and Infants Labor and Delivery unit
- Rotating day and night shifts (4x12 hours, 7:00-19:00 and 19:00-7:00)
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Weekend shifts required per unit needs
- On-call required per unit needs
- Float required within the Women and Infant Unit and may be required within the metro region per facility needs
- Uses Epic charting system
- Navy scrub color required
- Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
- Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Experience with labor and delivery management, high-risk deliveries, C-section circulation/recovery, and fetal monitoring
- Provide comprehensive labor, delivery, and postpartum nursing care including antepartum, neonatal, and newborn care
- Support high-risk antepartum patients and assist with surgical cases such as C-sections
- Complete all facility-specific modules within the first week of assignment
- Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
- RTO not permitted during November 22 - December 2, 2026 and December 20 - January 3, 2027
- Flexibility for RTO may be considered for harder-to-fill positions
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
- Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility may be eligible for a local bill rate
- Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or affiliated hospitals within the last two years are not eligible for consideration
- Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking
