Role Description The Counter Sales role is a full-time, on-site position based in Aurora, CO. This role involves greeting customers at the sales counter, identifying their needs, and recommending appropriate tools, equipment, and supplies. Daily responsibilities include processing orders and returns, preparing quotes, and accurately handling cash and electronic transactions. The Counter Sales team member will maintain product displays and stock levels, support inventory checks, and ensure the sales area remains clean and organized.

The role also includes answering phone and email inquiries, assisting with order follow-up, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality customer service.
Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Proficiency in Sales and basic Sales Management capabilities to support counter sales activities and meet sales goals.
• Ability to provide Training on product features and safe usage to customers and coworkers as needed.
• Basic knowledge of industrial and construction tools, safety equipment, or related products is preferred.
• Comfort with point-of-sale systems, order entry software, and standard office applications.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a busy counter environment.
• Reliable work habits, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe work practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior counter sales or retail experience in an industrial or construction setting is a plus.
