- Civil/Mechanical Equipment Operator (Non driver)
Location:
Centennial, CO. Salary: $60,000–$110,000 per year.
- Practice safety rules.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Report to and assist immediate supervisor.
- Perform quality work as determined by project specifications.
- Accountable for all tools and materials at the end of your shift.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Mobilize equipment: load, unload, secure, set up, and tear down.
- Maintain equipment, vehicles, and tools properly.
- Serve as backup to other positions at management direction.
- Lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs daily; assist in lifting over 50 lbs when required.
- Grasp and manipulate hand tools daily.
- Stand >2 hours at a time, twisting, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping.
- Identify/distinguish colors; use manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
- Communicate orally and understand spoken instructions.
- Operate motorized equipment safely.
- Work in uncomfortable environments (drafts, noise, temperature variation).
- Proofread documents for accuracy and enter data on keyboard.
- Comply with drug and alcohol abuse policy.
- Pass physical examination and pre‑employment testing if required.
- Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights or confined spaces.
- Work extended hours on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel).
- Be clean shaven and wear respirator and other personal protective equipment when required.
- Minimum 1–2 years related experience excavating near underground utilities.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Class A CDL with airbrakes and tanker endorsement preferred.
Industrial construction sites and/or fabrication shops.
