Glassfab delivers crafted architectural glass and metal products to local custom shower door companies, glass shops and architectural glazing contractors.

As our company continues to grow, we're looking for an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, learning how things work, and building a career in industrial maintenance.

You don't need years of maintenance experience to be successful in this position. We're willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and an interest in mechanical and electrical systems.

What You'll Learn and Do

Working alongside our experienced team, you'll learn how to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and facility systems.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assist with preventive and routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Learn to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
  • Assist with diagnosing equipment problems and identifying potential causes
  • Perform inspections and basic equipment adjustments
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
  • Assist experienced technicians with equipment repairs and installations
  • Learn to maintain equipment such as:
    • Glass tempering furnaces
    • Insulated glass production lines
    • Glass cutting tables
    • Edge grinders and polishers
    • Washers and drying systems
    • Automated material handling equipment
    • Compressors, pumps, and conveyors
    • Other production and facility equipment
  • Help respond to equipment issues and production downtime
  • Learn to read basic mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams, and equipment manuals
  • Keep maintenance tools, work areas, and spare parts organized
  • Complete maintenance records and documentation
  • Follow all company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
  • Work closely with production employees and experienced maintenance personnel
  • Develop the skills needed to advance into a more experienced Maintenance Technician role
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is curious, dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Enjoy working with tools and figuring out how things work
  • Have some mechanical, electrical, automotive, construction, welding, or equipment experience
  • Have attended or completed a technical, vocational, or trade school program
  • Have experience repairing equipment, vehicles, machinery, or other mechanical systems
  • Are comfortable learning new equipment and technology
  • Can follow instructions and safety procedures
  • Have good problem-solving skills
  • Take pride in doing quality work
  • Show up reliably and work well with others
  • Are willing to learn from experienced technicians
Experience

Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Previous maintenance experience is helpful but not required.

Relevant experience can include:

  • Automotive repair
  • Construction
  • HVAC
  • Electrical work
  • Welding or fabrication
  • Plumbing
  • Machine operation
  • Equipment repair
  • Industrial or manufacturing work
  • Military mechanical or technical experience
  • Technical or vocational school

We are more interested in your mechanical aptitude, work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn than in having a long list of maintenance job titles on your résumé.

What Makes This Opportunity Different?

This isn't simply a job where you'll be expected to know everything on day one.

You'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced maintenance personnel while gaining hands‑on experience with industrial manufacturing equipment.

As you develop your skills, you'll have the opportunity to take on…
