The Automated Test Framework Software Engineer will support the framework of automated tests on multiple environments for a large complex enterprise system. Our agile development teams follow the Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) pattern, where developers are responsible for implementing robust testing leveraging Dev Ops automation and, where appropriate, the use of test automation commercial tools. Activities supporting this framework include developing, improving and maintaining the BDD framework.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites and frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug automated tests to identify root causes of failures and ensure test reliability.
• Work closely with development teams to identify testable requirements and implement automated testing solutions.
• Write and execute automated test scripts using various testing tools and frameworks.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation, track issues, manage VMs, and use CI/CD tools.
• Perform basic system administration and actively participate in daily stand‑ups, Sprint Planning, Program Increment (PI) Planning, and other Agile team activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 8 years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience).
• Must have demonstrated experience with Java, including development of unit tests.
• Experience working with Spring libraries, IDEs, and CI/CD frameworks.
• Experience with software source control and configuration management tools.
• Experience working in Windows and/or Linux operating systems and in a virtualized environment (managing VMs).
• If not located at the MD location, some short‑duration travel may be required to support quarterly PI Planning sessions in MD.
• Clearance Required:
  
  Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph.

• Experience working with integration test framework.
• Basic Windows administration experience (Registry Editor, Services, Task Scheduler, etc.).
• Experience with task automation such as Power Shell.
• Experience with knowledge management systems.
• Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with the Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, SAFe Agile certification, or experience as a member of an Agile team.
