Position OverviewThis position is for a Senior Software Algorithm Developer who will support the development of algorithms in disciplines including Signal/Image Processing, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Satellite Communication (SATCOM), and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT). As a technical lead you will guide a team of developers from prototype to operations.

Responsibilities- Lead a small software development team consisting of researchers, algorithm developers, and full‑stack/cloud‑native developers to implement a variety of algorithms for diverse customers and domains.
- Apply knowledge of data structures and algorithms to create efficient solutions to customer needs.
- Use cloud services to deploy software solutions.
- Review relevant publications to understand and apply cutting‑edge concepts to defense and commercial applications.
- Write technical documentation supporting code capabilities and user guides.
- B.S. in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, physics, or another relevant STEM field.
- Experience leading an interdisciplinary team of researchers and software developers.
- Effective communicator who can write and present technical reports.
- Experience with any of the following languages:
Python, C/C++, Java, or Rust. - Experience developing algorithms in one or more of the following domains:
Signal/Image Processing, SDA, SATCOM, SIGINT. - Five years of software development experience, preferably developing high‑performance computing algorithms.
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- Willingness to obtain a Counter‑Intelligence (CI) polygraph if required.
- M.S. or Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, physics, or another relevant STEM field.
- Experience with Linux.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud computing resources (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
- Experience with additional languages: C#, Go, or R.
- Experience with computational libraries such as OpenCV, Boost, Eigen, Dlib, etc.
- Experience with source code version control systems.
- Experience implementing algorithms on GPU in Python or C using CUDA and related libraries.
- Experience in application deployment, virtualization, and containerization.
- Experience working with remote sensing datasets (e.g., EO/OPIR/SAR images, passive RF).
- Experience developing modeling and simulation environments or OpenAI Gym environments for reinforcement learning problems.
$125,000 – $205,000. Salary will be case‑by‑case based on job‑related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
LocationOn‑site in Aurora, Colorado, at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. The city offers natural beauty and is a 20‑minute drive from downtown Denver and 15 minutes from Denver International Airport.
