Raytheon is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to support our teams in Aurora, CO. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the world around you and contribute to programs and technologies you are passionate about. This is a full stack position, this is meant for an engineer with experience working backend and UI capabilities. Also, the successful engineer will need to tackle some responsibilities working with customers and Dev Sec Ops  responsibilities to ensure seamless and timely delivery of software deliverables.

• Offer technical leadership by guiding developers in software design and architecture best practices.
• Identify and understand customer needs and apply sound, demonstrable understanding of features supported by backend and UI capabilities.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas well.
• Design backend and UI software solutions with clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Aid in deployment processes to ensure seamless and timely deliveries
• Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex bugs and support critical releases.
• Lead a small team of engineers and coordinate features with product owners.
• Lead a small team of engineers, coordinating feature development with product owners and collaborating across teams to ensure alignment.

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Experience in backend languages such as Java and Python.
• Experience in front end languages and frameworks such as Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with RESTful patterns and frameworks such as OpenAPI and Swaggerhub.
• Experience working with Docker containers.
• Architecture experience for backend and UI design decisions.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Experience leading a team is desired
• Experience troubleshooting software issues such as backend issues on a Java microservice architecture, front end issues on Angular framework, etc.
• Experience developing secure software with the aid of tools such as Sonar Qube to ensure the deployment of software with little to no vulnerabilities.
• Experience with OpenAPI frameworks such as Swagger Hub.
• Experience with No

• Experience with automating routine tasks.
• Familiarity with the RTX WIGS framework
