Customer Service Rep

National Metal wares is looking for a Customer Service Representative eager to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment. The role focuses on building strong relationships with customers through high‑quality service, value‑added opportunities, and professionalism in all interactions, becoming a valued member of their supply chain and production teams. This position reports to the Inside Sales Manager.

• Correspond with customers via telephone, e‑mail, and other channels.
• Follow standard operating procedures to respond to inquiries, place orders, and provide order updates.
• Track orders through delivery, updating the manufacturing/shipping team and customers as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Sales to provide resolutions to customer problems; appropriately Escalate customer issues.
• Maintain a proficient knowledge of all company products and services.
• Accurately enter and maintain all orders and customer data in the company order entry systems.

• High School diploma required.
• 2‑7 years of experience in a customer service position; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner.
