We are seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified General Surgeon to join our established practice in the western suburbs of Chicago.
Department/division specifics- Bread and butter elective general surgery practice consisting of 4 surgeons and 2 APPs; recruiting for future state of 5 surgeons and 4 APPs
- Level II trauma center, inpatient census 25-30 patients per day
- Strong network of primary care providers and specialists on staff
- High volume operative practice with 12 hours clinic per week
- Shared practice call schedule of 1 day per week and rotating 1:5 weekends
- Trauma call is required and rotated 1:5
- Clinic conveniently located on the hospital campus
- Proficiency in robotic-assisted procedures
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical institution
- Board-eligible or certified in General Surgery
- Valid Illinois medical license or ability to obtain licensure

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs. The pay range shown reflects the factors considered for compensation, including knowledge and skills, experience, education, licensure, primary work location, and other business factors. This range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee and may include sign-on and relocation bonuses and other incentives. Opportunities for increased compensation based on productivity.
A comprehensive benefits package is offered.
Pay Range: $420,000 - $580,000
