Job Summary :

The Division of Infectious Diseases is recruiting a full-time faculty member at the University of Colorado School of Medicine (Anschutz Medical Campus) who will have primary duties in research, scholarship, and mentorship in the field. This physician scientist will play an important role in the Division of Infectious Diseases by advancing its missions in research. Applicants must have an MD degree.

Research and scholarship responsibilities will include the establishment and/or maintenance of an independent, extramurally funded research program. Clinical responsibilities will include inpatient and outpatient consultative services and participation in division educational activities. Applicants must have completed an accredited Infectious Diseases fellowship and be ABIM board eligible or board certified in Infectious Diseases. Applicants should have demonstrated aptitude for scholarly achievement.

Experience in basic, translational or clinical research in Infectious Diseases is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infectious Disease Clinical Attending, inpatient and outpatient.
• Teach fellows and house staff
• Publish new findings in top tier peer-reviewed journals.
• Maintain or apply for new research grants to support independent research.

Work Location:
This role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.
