Fox Valley Montessori School (FVMS) provides an experience-based, independently focused education for children aged 15 months to 12 years. This is a full-time role for an on-site Elementary Teacher at Fox Valley Montessori School located in Aurora, IL. The Elementary Teacher will oversee the academic, social, and emotional development of students through the preparation and delivery of a Montessori-based curriculum. Responsibilities include lesson planning, guiding students in their learning activities, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, maintaining open communication with families, and ensuring alignment with the school's philosophy and values.

The teacher will also be expected to contribute actively to the school community and attend relevant training sessions.

• Montessori teaching certification required - completed certification is preferred; being in the process of obtaining certification will also be considered.
• Proven experience in teaching and nurturing young learners
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with students, families, and staff
• Passion for Education with a commitment to the Montessori philosophy
• Ability to create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging educational environment
• Prior experience as an elementary educator is strongly preferred
