Position Summary: The Site Quality Technician, reporting to the Site Quality Manager, will ensure operational efficiency and quality of construction projects at various sites, focusing on solar tracker systems. Responsibilities include audits, inspections, and creating punch lists using Autodesk Construction Cloud via an iPad. The role requires leveraging experience with solar tracker systems to identify and resolve issues, contributing to project success.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Solar Tracker Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular on-site audits and inspections to assess compliance, identify discrepancies, and document findings related to solar tracker systems.
- Punch List Creation: Use Autodesk Construction Cloud and iPad to create and prioritize punch lists, collaborating with teams for timely resolution.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data on solar tracker installation and performance, and prepare reports.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with project teams to address audit findings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of audit findings and punch lists related to solar trackers.
- Safety Compliance: Promote safety protocols, especially concerning solar tracker systems, and report incidents.
Education and Experience Requirements: 1-3+ years in related construction fields.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in renewable energy, especially solar tracker systems.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud and iPad applications.
- Attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of solar tracker installation standards.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Willingness to travel.
- Commitment to safety and quality assurance.
Benefits and Pay:
- $22 - $31/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
