Mission Operations and Integration Systems Engineer
Responsibilities- Support the design and implementation of space-based systems to deliver resilient, affordable, and sustainable space capabilities.
- Evaluate and modernize Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and develop skills in developing and acquiring space systems.
- Develop client solutions, assess technical designs, and test programs to translate requirements into actionable engineering outcomes.
- Merge space vehicle development and acquisition to deliver sustained, reliable GPS capabilities to America’s warfighters, allies, and civil users.
- Turn requirements into accomplishments that drive change within a customer-focused engineering context.
- 10+ years of experience in space systems engineering, integration, and testing.
- 10+ years of experience in system of systems integration and integrated system testing for space, ground, or user programs.
- Experience in mission readiness planning, including operational test, operational acceptance, and transition to operations planning.
- Experience in developing integrated plans and schedules, developing decision briefings, managing giver or receivers, and managing risks for space programs.
- Experience with collaboration tools, including Confluence or Jira.
- Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional team meetings and task execution across systems engineering and integration activities.
- Ability to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission.
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish collaborative relationships with government clients and contractor teammates.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
- 15+ years of experience in space vehicle systems engineering, integration, and testing.
- Experience in launch planning and execution and satellite operations.
- Experience performing multiple systems engineering and program management functions.
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle milestones, and DoD systems engineering, test, and production policies, standards, and practices.
- Knowledge of GPS space, ground, or user segment.
- Strong writing skills for program or systems engineering documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
- PMP, ESEP, CSEP, or OCSMP Certifications.

Secret clearance is required.
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD). The posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
Work ModelOur people-first culture prioritizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in person or remotely. If listed as remote or hybrid, you’ll periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.
