Job Description

Candidate Responsibilities: The candidate will be developing product requirements and facilitating DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis) with design engineers.

Typical Day:

  • Typical working hours 8-5 with some flexibility.
  • Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.
  • Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects.
  • Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software.
Qualifications

Technical

Skills:

  • 5-7 years engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Nice to have: APQP, QDF (Quality Function Deployment), DFMEA, DVP&R.

Soft Skills:

  • People skills; ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to manage a project.

Travel Requirement: 0-25%, mostly local, within IL.

On-Site Interview
