Financial Analyst

Are you a finance professional who thrives in Excel, enjoys building financial models, and wants direct exposure to executive leadership? Our client, a rapidly growing private equity-backed organization, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Finance & FP&A team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who wants to play a visible role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business performance analysis while working closely with senior leadership.

What You'll Do as the Financial Analyst
  • Own and maintain financial reporting packages, forecasting models, and variance analysis.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning initiatives.
  • Analyze gross margin performance, project profitability, and actual versus forecast results.
  • Develop and enhance complex Excel-based financial models used for executive reporting and decision-making.
  • Assist with 13-week cash flow forecasting, covenant reporting, and key financial metrics.
  • Partner with operations, sales, and finance teams to provide actionable business insights.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automation, and overall financial visibility.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, SUMIFS, lookups, and potentially macros to streamline reporting.
What We're Looking For in the Financial Analyst
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Approximately 1-5 years of financial analysis, FP&A, banking, corporate finance, or related experience.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills are required.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Exposure to cash flow forecasting, lending relationships, covenant reporting, or banking environments is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Self-starter mentality with a willingness to bring ideas forward and drive improvements.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Net Suite, Salesforce, Power BI, or similar platforms is a plus.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
  • Join a growing, PE-backed company experiencing both organic growth and acquisitions.
  • Gain direct exposure to executive leadership, including senior finance and operational leaders.
  • Work in a collaborative environment where your ideas and analysis will influence business decisions.
  • Opportunity to build and improve reporting processes rather than simply maintain existing ones.
  • Strong visibility and career growth potential as the organization continues to expand.
