Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) located in Aurora, IL. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism. Daily tasks include implementing behavior intervention plans, data collection, and reporting, tracking progress, and supporting clients in building communication, social, and adaptive skills.
Collaboration with families and team members is essential to ensure goal achievement and overall progress.
- Proficiency in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
- Strong skills in Communication and Behavioral Intervention
- Understanding of Psychology and its principles related to behavioral therapy
- Ability to collect and analyze data accurately
- Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with autism
- High school diploma or higher education in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, education, or social work)
- Experience working with children, preferably those with developmental disorders, is a plus
