Software Engineer (Dev Ops) - CLEARANCE and POLYGRAPH REQUIRED

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

• Manage Dev Ops activities within a federal contract context.
• Work with CI/CD frameworks and tools for development, deployment, and integrated testing.
• Provide system administration across Windows and Linux environments.
• Collaborate with development teams; implement sound software development principles and practices.
• Operate in a virtualized environment and manage container-based platforms for application deployment.
• Participate in quarterly PI Planning sessions as needed.

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph (FS)
• At least five (5) years of direct/relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace) or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Five (5) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• Solid understanding of Dev Ops
• Experience managing tools for development, deployment, and integrated test
• Experience with CI/CD frameworks
• System Administration experience (primarily Windows, plus Linux)
• Experience with Java, Groovy, Python, Power Shell, Batch, Bash scripting, JavaScript, AngularJS
• Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, Rhapsody, Web Storm
• Experience with software source control and configuration management tools
• Experience working in a virtualized environment (managing VMs)
• Experience with container-based platforms for automated deployment of applications
• Independent thinker, able to work both independently and in a team in a fast-moving environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to travel short durations to support quarterly PI Planning sessions in MD, if not located at the MD location
