Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Help Desk Technician to join our team at 28 Broadway, NY. The ideal candidate will provide first-level technical support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure timely resolution of IT-related problems.
- Provide technical support via phone, email, or in person for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows, Microsoft Office, and other software problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Assist in setting up new user accounts and managing access permissions.
- Maintain accurate records of issues and solutions in the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or IT management when necessary.
- Ensure all systems and devices are secure and up to date.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ year of experience in an IT support or help desk role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Compensation: $23.00 per hour
