Warehouse Manager

Base Pay Range

$57,000 – $65,000 per year

Location: Aurora, IL

Schedule: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM (flexible)

Environment: Climate-controlled warehouse

• Oversee daily cross dock and P&D operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Utilize warehouse management systems for Logistics, Commercial, and Household Goods.
• Assign work duties and make recommendations on hiring, training, and performance management.
• Ensure all personnel are properly trained and cross‑trained in warehouse processes.
• Provide guidance, motivation, and continuous feedback to team members.
• Monitor and address claims issues, conduct inventory inspections, and maintain OSHA compliance.
• Manage equipment maintenance programs and oversee cost‑effective facility decisions.
• Track projects and monitor daily warehouse activity to maximize productivity.
• Facilitate department meetings and maintain strong communication with supervisors and customers.
• Promote safety and uphold company standards and policies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate inventory reports, including cycle counts and liquidation tracking.
• Demonstrate initiative and problem‑solving skills to improve processes and resolve issues quickly.

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse or moving industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience with the ability to coach, mentor and professionally develop team.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strives for operational excellence and efficiency in every aspect of the role.

• A driven individual who is a self‑starter and can quickly solve problems on the go.
• An on‑the‑fly operator who can overcome obstacles and provide solutions in real time.
• Cross dock experience and knowledge of P&D operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly adapt and make decisions under pressure.
