Full Service Semi-trailer Department Director

ILoca Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Full Service Semi-trailer Department Director to lead our service operations. • Oversee, manage, and direct service department employees to achieve maximum production while controlling costs and meeting profit objectives
• Hire, train, develop, and motivate service department staff while monitoring their performance
• Support and mentor employees to help them achieve success in their roles
• Represent the company with the highest standards of ethics and integrity

• Forecast goals and objectives for the department and ensure they are met
• Develop and monitor budgets for the service department and inform management of variances
• Maintain daily sales and production records as required by management
• Seek ways to improve business operations efficiency and customer service
• Ensure proper repair techniques are being used across all service operations
• Stay current on product changes and new products
• Schedule training as necessary to properly repair and service vehicles

• Ensure common courtesy is shown to all customers by every service department employee
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
• Handle customer complaints tactfully, promptly, and with genuine concern
• Ensure the service department meets all customer satisfaction and financial goals

• Ensure all necessary shop equipment is in proper and safe working condition
• Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting service department operations
• Maintain a safe working environment for all employees

• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with company values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required Experience

• Ten or more years of experience in the semi-trailer industry
• Seven or more years of experience in management

• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Great attitude with high-energy personality
• Excellent customer service and employee coaching skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Ability to work well in a process-driven environment

• Work environment is in an office adjacent to the repair shop near customer trailers
• Daily exposure to shop environment including noise, dust, odors and fumes, chemicals, and adhesives
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, and listen
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, twist, or assume body positions necessary to inspect a trailer
• Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs
• Exposure to weather conditions
