Material Handler – Multiple Shifts Available

Joliet Staffing is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our production team as Material Handlers. In this role, you will support daily manufacturing operations by efficiently moving, scanning, and staging materials to ensure continuous production flow. Your attention to detail, organization, and commitment to safety will help keep our presses running smoothly and ensure timely delivery of products.

1st Shift: $18 / hr | 2nd Shift: $19 / hr | 3rd Shift: $20 / hr

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials to and from assigned presses and other production areas.

• Follow all company and departmental safety rules and procedures.
• Use an RF Scanner for IQMS to scan materials in and out as required.
• Maintain a smooth flow of product to and from equipment.
• Move completed skids to the designated areas.
• Assist with building skids when necessary.
• Package, label, and stack finished products according to specifications.
• Prepare and dispose of scrap material following proper recycling procedures.
• Organize materials on the production floor to support efficiency.
• Perform warehouse inventory and cycle counts to assist with staging pre-production products.
• Complete end-of-day disposition tasks for finished goods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 1 year of Material Handler experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Must be able to complete at least 2 weeks of 1st-shift training (due to lack of fully trained handlers on site).
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
