• Purpose of the Job: The Production Associate I will perform manufacturing functions associated with building Custom and or BTE Devices. This position will be based out of Aurora, Illinois.
• Travel Requirement: None

• May perform any or all of the following Custom device functions:
  • Cut / Trim / Sanding
  • Lacquer
  • Tube Installation
  • Acoustical Testing
• May perform any or all of the following BTE functions:
  • BTE Assembly
  • BTE Repair
  • BTE Acoustical Testing
  • Invoicing
  • Packing
  • Kitting / Picking
• Maintains workstation in a clean, safe, and orderly manner
• Visually inspects product, identifies defects / rejects, and escalates issues as required
• Performs general routine machine maintenance and daily workstation clean-up
• Active participation in quality improvement processes
• Initiates process improvements and motivates peers to achieve team goals
• Meets established individual and team goals
• Flex to various positions as business needs require

• Basic
  
  Education:
  
  High School Diploma OR GED / equivalent
• Work Experience: 1 - 3 years' experience in manufacturing
• Competencies:
  • Flex to various positions as business needs require
  • Able to follow and understand work instructions
  • Demonstrated understanding of ESD and handling of material in accordance with established safety procedures
  • Willingness to work in a team environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to train others and use problem solving techniques
• Language: Ability to communicate and comprehend English
• IT skills: Basic Computer skills
• Further Requirements:
  • Excellent manual dexterity, use of small hand tools and light bench equipment
  • Able to read small font
  • Able to count, verify, and audit inventory locations
  • Able to perform other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to stand/walk for 1 hour and sit for 7 hours a day
  • Lift weight of up to 20 lbs
  • Repetitive motions using both hands
  • Must have good vision and the ability to work with hands and small pieces
