Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Outpatient - Illinois Overview
Large Multispecialty Group in Illinois is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner who can work with children. Enjoy consultation/collaboration with over 170 physicians and 50 APN’s/PA’s in 28 specialties within the system.
Responsibilities- Provide a continuum of community-based services to children, adults, and families.
- Examine patients to determine general physical condition following standard medical procedures.
- Determine nature and extent of mental disorder and formulate a treatment program.
- Treat and direct treatment of patients utilizing psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
- Work with a professional clinical team to provide services for mental health and substance abuse recovery needs including intensive family issues, trauma, forensics, and mental illness.
