Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to support the Eastern Colorado VA Healthcare System. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the discretion of either Ansible or its customers.

Position Schedule: Monday-Friday,
Position Pay: $25.29/hour - $31.55/hour

Responsibilities
Obtain patient history and family history.Perform quality control checks and operator maintenance for patient care equipment.Assist in identifying patient needs and implementing the care plan.Document care provided and patient responses in medical records.Prepare patients for physical examinations.Carry out prescribed orders from nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians; document in medical records.Communicate pertinent patient data to the appropriate provider.Know actions and usual dosages of emergency drugs and their locations.Recognize emergency situations and initiate resuscitative measures.Assist in patient/family education regarding medications, therapies, and diagnostic procedures.Assess patient/family knowledge, implement instructions, and record understanding.Ensure accuracy of reports and validate content with signatures.Participate in quality monitoring according to standards.Respond to inquiries regarding ward services and follow-up reports.Assist with ward administrative tasks.Administer oxygen, IV fluids, and medications per VA policy.Show sensitivity to cultural diversity and individual differences.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Valid, current LPN license with no limitations or pending adverse actions; must remain valid during employment.At least two years of active practice as an LPN within the past three years.American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.No sponsorship available.Physical and Other Requirements
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, reach above shoulders during shifts.
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist.
- Lift up to 20 lbs.
- Carry up to 40 lbs reasonable distance.
- Push/pull with 30 lbs force.
