Quality Lab Technician

Job Title

Quality Lab Technician, 2 pm to 10 pm/Monday-Friday

Entegris is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Lab Technician to join our PADS Department team. This position will be based in our Aurora, IL facility.

In this role, you will be responsible for the analytical inspection and testing of incoming materials, intermediates, experimental and final products. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a focused and talented team of Quality Lab Technicians who support our growing CMP Pads business.

• Perform analytical, physical, and visual tests on product for production, development, R&D, materials engineering, and on customer return samples.
• Enter data into Sample Manager system; recognize and address deviations or non-conformances in products, instruments, and quality standards.
• Verify and/or calibrate all test equipment by manufacturing recommendations and test methods to ensure data integrity and adherence to ISO
  9001 standard.
• Analyze data or trends and prepare reports for communication to internal stakeholders.
• Create Certificates of Analysis for product shipping to customer.
• Participate in the maintenance of current lab work instructions and assist in the development of new methods and instructions for the quality lab team.
• Troubleshoot lab equipment of varying complexity.
• Communicate effectively with other team members to promote a safe, positive, and productive working environment.

• Education / Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (i.e. Chemistry, Biology, etc.) and/or quality laboratory experience of a minimum of 1 year.
• Knowledge: Statistical software (JMP, Minitab) and/or Sample Manager preferred.

• Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm (overtime may be required, as per business needs)
• Weekend shifts will vary when needed.

• Starting pay range of $24.75-$26.00 per hour depending upon experience plus shift differential.
