The Quality Assurance Manager reports to the Director of Operations and will oversee all activities related to Quality Control and Quality Assurance. The QA Manager will execute key projects related to process improvement based on data collected from Quality Control and feedback from Field Service and Customers. The QA Manager works with both Operations and Service to identify and correct process failures and will provide support in project management, change management, SOP documentation and management.
The QA Manager will also lead and drive the business unit’s initiatives to obtain and maintain ISO 9001 certification.

Job Expectations and Responsibilities- Executing quality complaint investigations, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, data collection and proposing solutions.
- Demonstrating appropriate project management skills and use of DMAIC/Lean methodology in execution of projects.
- Creating and executing continuous improvement projects and Design of Experiments to improve quality and optimize equipment and process performance within production applications.
- Engaging with production to develop new products and supporting process development through PFMEA – (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis).
- Developing documentation for new test procedures, products, and processes.
- Routinely monitoring production through periodic Q/C checks and evaluation of routine checks made by in-house line leaders.
- Assisting in creating quality assurance plans for new products to guarantee quality from stage one.
- Maintaining Quality Root‑Cause database.
- Training new Quality Control employees.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in people, process, and product management.
- BS in Mechanical, Process Engineering, Quality Engineering or similar relevant degree/experience preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt a plus.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Demonstrated success in leading ISO 9001 certification efforts and sustaining ongoing compliance in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to create, implement, and maintain new processes across multiple departments.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects in cross‑functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail is critical.
- Ability to multi‑task with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Works successfully independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Excellent data and computer skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range depending on performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis’ total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $110,000 to $140,000.
