Role OverviewWe are looking for an individual who notices details others miss and can prove it with data. Confidence calibrating gauges and measurement tools, and comfort working in a bench, on the production floor, or in a database.
Impact You’ll Make- Protect quality from the very start by testing incoming materials from outside suppliers.
- Keep our equipment trustworthy through routine calibrations and accurate records.
- Accelerate issue resolution by partnering with Engineering and Production on in-process quality concerns.
- Strengthen our quality system with clear documentation, efficient data entry, and adherence to Aztech Locknut Company procedures.
- Execute daily inspections per defined criteria using a variety of inspection tools.
- Inspect received product and confirm compliance to specifications.
- Conduct equipment calibrations and maintain associated documentation.
- Record inspection outcomes, quality issues, and resolutions in our systems.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to contain and correct quality issues during production.

- Quality Inspection Track:
Pursue ASQ credentials such as Quality Inspector, Calibration Technician, and Certified Quality Technician. - Mechanical Engineering Track:
Develop engineering‑oriented skills alongside our production and engineering teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent (extra coursework in quality is beneficial).
- Prior experience in quality assurance, inspection, or related work.
- Strong analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and quality management software.
- Capable of lifting/moving up to 50 lbs.
