QA Incoming Inspector I Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Mission

Your mission: raise the bar on product integrity.

Imagine a supplier shipment arrives. On the Vision System, a subtle dimensional variance appears. You confirm it against the blueprint, perform additional mechanical tests, and coordinate with Engineering and Production to resolve the issue swiftly. You document the nonconformance, enter the data, and help prevent recurrence. That’s a win for our customers and for Aztech Locknut Company’s standards.

Role Scope
  • Perform daily inspections following defined procedures and acceptance criteria.
  • Inspect incoming materials and components from external sources to verify conformance.
  • Calibrate or verify calibration of equipment and maintain calibration records.
  • Partner with Engineering and Production to troubleshoot and close out quality issues during manufacturing.
  • Maintain precise documentation of inspections, issues, and resolutions; complete accurate data entry.
  • Follow all Aztech Locknut Company policies and procedures.
Career Paths
  • Quality Inspection Track:
    Work toward ASQ certifications (Quality Inspector, Calibration Technician, Certified Quality Technician).
  • Mechanical Engineering Track:
    Build practical engineering capability in partnership with production and engineering teams.
What you Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in quality is a plus.
  • Hands‑on experience in quality assurance or similar roles.
  • Keen attention to detail coupled with analytical thinking.
  • Ability to operate independently and collaborate across teams.
  • Familiarity with quality control methodologies and tools.
  • Clear, concise communication—written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management software.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
