Organize, train, and direct Grocery Clerks to deliver prompt courteous service, maximize sales, and uphold Kroger’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Organize work, train, and schedule associates to consistently provide prompt courteous service.
• Respond to customer or associate comments, complaints, requests, and questions with professionalism.
• Use Computer Assisted Ordering to manage ordering quantities, ensure proper accounting of products received, and maintain balance on hand.
• Lead pricing, displaying, and merchandising of merchandise; maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quality, and space allocation.
• Engage and counsel associates in effective merchandising techniques, customer service, product presentation, and promotional activities.
• Implement company programs, policies, and procedures; maintain a harassment‑free work environment.
• Provide input on department budgets, goals, and results to maximize department and store sales and profits.
• Communicate with associates and customers to provide a positive impression.
• Maintain equipment, facilities, cleaning areas, and temperature logs accurately and safely.
• Assist with special projects such as periodic inventories, store resets, remodels, and merchandising promotions.
• Supervise, coach direct reports; complete performance reviews and provide feedback.
