Pickleball Instructor​/Healthplex

Position Summary

The Pickleball Instructor is responsible for the instruction of adult and youth Pickleball group and private lessons.

• Provide participants with high quality professional instruction that focuses on learning, safety and enjoyment.
• Adhere to the Healthplex and RCMC policies, procedures and code of conduct.
• Deliver Pickleball instruction to both adult and youth participants.
• Conduct special events and round robin tournaments.
• Collaborate with community groups to develop, promote and maintain the growth of Pickleball.
• Attend mandatory departmental meetings and all‑staff meetings.
• Ensure court appearance and surrounding areas are presentable.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude with all members, guests, and co‑workers.
• Work required hours necessary for a successful operation.

• Certifications:
  • USTA Safeplay Certified
  • Current CPR/AED certification
• Special
  
  Skills:
  • Pickleball rating 3.5 or above
  • Excellent customer service skills
• Experience:
  • 1+ years of teaching racket sport lessons
