POSITION SUMMARY

The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership of damages or discrepancies. Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will perform all duties as assigned. They are expected to meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality and comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Picking Responsibilities
  • Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands.
  • Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage them in the appropriate areas.
  • Stack, package, band, shrink‐wrap, and label products as dictated by client requirements.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures for picking functions.
Quality Control Responsibilities
  • Use appropriate documentation to ensure all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly.
  • Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards and report damages or discrepancies.
  • Stack, package, shrink‐wrap, and label products according to SOPs.
Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance
  • Execute all safety protocols and perform tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and assist in the security of the warehouse.
  • Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
Equipment Operation
  • Operate a pallet jack and other equipment as required.
  • Maintain equipment and report any problems.
  • Use prescribed work methods for safe and efficient operation.
Maintenance
  • Perform or assist in building, ground, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
OTHER DUTIES
  • Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse; conditions may range from mild to moderate.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES Computer Skills

  • English (reading, writing, verbal)
Mathematical Skills
  • Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities, count inventory, or perform other duties related to handling, storing, and distributing client products.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy; accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
  • Perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Adapt to change and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6 months experience in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
  • Current or prior MHE certification.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Occasionally handling/fingering, sitting.
  • Frequently bending.
  • Constantly walking and standing.
  • Ability to lift/carry and push/pull 21-50 pounds; may require reaching above shoulder, reaching outward, squatting, or kneeling.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level is usually low to moderate.
